After the June 2006 rains... sinkholes in the park!

River and stream residents are not the only ones affected by water damage from heavy rains
and floods. The Community Park and a few homes in a nearby development were hit too. We
also learned that there is another new sinkhole near the Township's wrestling building (near
Metzgar Field and the airport) as a result of the rains of June 2006.
Although the developer of College Park Estates is doing the repairs to the park and the
residents' yards as well as to his own retention basin, we sincerely hope that the homeowners
have sinkhole insurance too.
